Sustainable Malmsbury presents this workshop thanks to a Small Projects Grant from Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
Mara Ripani from Village Dreaming will take participants through all of the stages of baking sourdough bread at home. Mara will discuss how to care for your sourdough starter culture (levain) and some of the different ways to approach baking your own bread including tin loaves and free-form artisan bread using bannetons.
We will be making sourdough flatbreads for lunch so please bring a vegetarian filling to share (Home made and package free would be appreciated).
