MRSG welcomes James McGregor to this years AGM. James is the CEO of Blue Tribe, which promotes positive behavioural change for some of our biggest sustainability challenges. Come and learn about the tools Blue Tribe use to sway the moveable middle through world-leading approaches to design thinking, research, innovation, transformation in complex systems, and even behavioural science.

What an incredible Wash Against Waste effort at the Malmsbury Village Fayre! Thanks to the Fayre committee for hiring the Wash Against Waste trailer, the stallholders who all used the reusable dishes, and to our amazing Sustainable Malmsbury volunteers who collected and washed and dried all the dishes over and over and over!
Woodend Community Bags is a project of the Wast Action Group and recently hosted a team from Sunbury Cobaw Oral Care Services to make bags as a team building activity. WCB was very please with the efforts of the 14 participants.
Kyneton Backyard Growers is a project of the Kyneton Transition Hub Action Group and runs a weekly Fruit and Veg Share for the local residents. Our growers donate their fresh produce each Sunday for everyone to take. The motto,
“Take what you need, leave what you can”
is central to the model so the wonderful produce can be shared with the whole community.
The Fruit and Veg Share is located in the beautiful Kyneton Library Park at the Kyneton Lion’s Community Stall each Sunday from 9am (for produce drop off) and 10am-12pm for the rest of the community to help themselves.
Introducing the new Regional Engagement Lead, Loddon Mallee for Sustainability Victoria - Jessica Morthorpe. Jessica is very excited to now be working for Sustainability Victoria (SV), and to act as a link between the Loddon Mallee region and SV’s programs and initiatives. She’s keen to connect and understand what your priorities and needs are, and what you are working on to accelerate our transition to a circular, climate resilient economy in Loddon Mallee.

Solar Citizens have added the Malmsbury EV Expo to their Electric Ute Roadshow where the team are travelling around the regions as part of the Electric Ute Roadshow, telling people what we know about the current state of the technology, listening to their needs and concerns – and feeding that info back to Canberra, so the decision-makers can make sure the switch to EVs works for everyone.
